BKB Bimah

Congregation Beth Knesset Bamidbar has been the face of Judaism in the Antelope Valley since 1951.  We have been here as a guiding light for the Jewish community to celebrate the good times and to support the community in times of great distress.  We are a congregation that supports a wide range of programs and activities for members of all ages.  We are a community based on inclusiveness, where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, or a Jew by birth or by choice.  Come and join us at BKB for an Erev Shabbat service with Rabbi Eric M. Berk or one of our exceptional lay leaders or a Saturday Torah service and Torah portion discussion led by Rabbi Eric M. Berk.  Come pray with us on Friday nights, Saturday mornings and for the High Holy Days when we have the vocal choir and the Shofar choir in Temple with us.  Congregation Beth Knesset Bamidbar welcomes the entire community to come and find out for yourself what BKB is all about.

July 19th @ 11:00 a.m. Brunch with the Rabbi.  Rabbi's program "Meet the New Machzor."  This year's High Holy Days features the brand new Machzor, the special prayer book for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Mishkan HaNefesh, or Sanctuary of the Soul.  If you want to feel less overwhelmed and more at ease on these High Holy Days, do yourself a favour-and a mitzvah-before walking into Shul on Rosh Hashanah: Join us on Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. (and again on Sunday, August 16th at 11:00 a.m.)  This introduction will be appropriate for all levels of knowledge and experience-and the brunch will be appropriate for all levels of appetite!
